View the 'most recent' geocaching logs for caches within the SLAGA Territory, or recent logs  made by a SLAGA member.  On this page you will find the following:
  1. Set of configurable options that determine how much data and what data appears on this page.  Settings are stored in a browser cookie.
  2. A timer that displays the number of seconds left before the page automatically refreshes (you can stop and start the timer at your discretion.)
  3. Scan Status displays how many logs were found during the last scan.  (The system searches for new logs on a regular basis.)
  4. Information about the recent logs.

1. Set of configurable options
If you change any of the options in the table below, click on the 'Set' button.  This will not only save the settings in a browser cookie, but will refresh the page with the new option settings. If your browser is not set to accept cookies, these settings will not be saved and you will be presented with the default settings every time you open this page in a new browser session.

COLUMN NAME DESCRIPTION
SLAGA Terr.?: If checked, the page will only display logs from caches in SLAGA Territory.  If unchecked, the page will  show logs from caches in SLAGA territory AND any cache logged by a SLAGA member.  For instance, if a SLAGA member logs a cache in California, it will appear on this page if this option is unchecked.
Last n Logs: Allows you to determine how many logs will display on the page at a time.  If you haven't read the logs in awhile, choose a larger number.  Smaller numbers will allow the page to display quicker.
(Set Button): Press this button to apply the options immediately.  This will also refresh the page.

2. Timer
This table explains the automatic page refresh counter.

COLUMN NAME DESCRIPTION
Refresh in N Seconds: Starting from 600 seconds (5 minutes), the number in the counter decrements by one every seconds until it reaches 0.  At that time, the page is automatically refreshed and the countdown starts over again.  Depending on how this timer coinsides with the log scan schedule, you may see new logs after the refresh.
(Stop/Start Button): If the counter is active, this button displays the word 'Stop'.  If you press the button, the counter will stop counting down to zero and the button name will change to 'Start'.  If you click on the button when the name is 'Start', the counter will start counting down again, where it left off.  This is handy if you want to stop the counter so you have time to review the contents of the page before it refreshes and makes you lose your place.

3. Status
This table explains the status information.

COLUMN NAME DESCRIPTION
Time Since Last Scan: Elapsed time since the last scan.  This this never be more than a few minutes.
Last Scan Status: Status of the scan and the number of logs found.  If the status includes the words 'retries exceeded', it is very possible that the system is having trouble getting data within the expected timeframe.
Job Status Report: Click on this link to see the history of scan results.  A graph appears at the top (green = successful job execution; red = failure), followed by the detail of the scan, in descending order by the date the job finished.  This can give administrators an idea of the 'health' of the scan process.
Help: Describes what the page does and the features on it.
