GSAK 7.7 now available
I just wanted to let everyone know that GSAK 7.7 has been announced. It is the latest and greatest version. The major high-light is the replacement of the old internal database with an SQLite engine. It makes most operations amazingly fast. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I think I answered my own question. On the GSAK forums Clyde was talking about hackers trying to take his code and he hadn't changed registration numbers in a long time so with the 7.7.2 upgrade you'll need the new registration number or get the nag screen. I just upgraded last night since we're headed to Springfield, MO this weekend and hubby says I can do some caching while "he'll drive me around, if he has too".

Hopefully this message will get to Steve. I was told you could possibly help me. I use GSAK 7.7.2.56. I have been running the jjreds GPX by cache type to load info to my Nuvi 350. I get the name, hint, description, logs etc. Everything fine.
I just got a new Nuvi 1250. When I use the same macro, all I get is the name, hint, and a few other bits of info. No description or last 4 logs. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Off the top of my head, I don't have an answer. Let me do a bit of digging and I'll try to get you an answer. I have an older Nuvi 650 and, like you, never had a problem with it. I'm not sure about the new ones. I have a couple of places to check. Let me do that and I'll let you know what I find in a couple of days.
BTW, you won't find me on the free-list. I left them when the news groups came out and haven't looked back. I may check to see what's there occasionally but only once or twice a month.
