Delorme Topo North America 9.0

Does anyone have a copy of Delorme Topo North America 9.0 that they can part with for cheap?  I am just starting to geocache again and my latest is Topo 7.0.  Let me know.  Thanks!

Re: Delorme Topo North America 9.0

Can't help you there -- but I do have a couple of suggestions. I'm assuming this is for a PN-40. Some, but not all, of the following applies to a -20. If you really want TNA9, call DeLorme tech support to see what they can do for you in terms of an upgrade price.

If you don't need to cut maps or transfer road routes, just upgrade the f/w in the -40 to 2.8. (If you want to continue to use the pre-cut road/topo maps that came with T7 AND you road route, you should avoid applying the basemap part of the f/w update. I can walk you through that part if necessary.) Then you can just drop .gpx files from your pocket queries right onto the unit. Alternatively, you can load the unit directly using Send to GPS from the gc.com web site. Or you can use GSAK to load the unit, either directly (send to GPS from within GSAK) or by exporting your filtered database to a .gpx file and dropping that directly onto the unit.  Or you can use the free DeLorme Cache Register widget to fetch your pocket queries from gc.com and synch them to the unit...
