I'm trying to talk L Frank into going. Michigan isn't that far away from the event, so we could add a new state to our caching map. August would be a great time to go north

That would be sooo cool!!! The "Spirit Quest" caches are fun and yes, you could pick up caches in Michigan! We hope you guys do come to the event!!!

I love this event but will not make it this year.. Unfortunately, I will be returning that weekend from the National Jamboree...

I'm trying to remember what other activities they have at GeoBash... the first one that we attended they had stuff at the venue to do, but after that one, we use the Bash as a "home base" and cache out from there. We ended up being part of a large caching group, we kept running into the same people in and around town. That's always nice, you get to briefly share stories... till the next cache! :) Let us know if you guys are coming to GeoBash! Or if you'd like a ride out there.
Honestly, I think I'm more excited about the walleye at the restaurant nearby the hotel... I know, crazy Pika! We do want to finish more of the Spirit Quest caches in the area. That and Toledo is nearby and I want to say, "Holy Toledo!" when I see it.

I'm hoping to make it. Not sure that hubby wants to use time off to go that direction instead of to the lake though. Since he has the new Seadoo, he thinks we should spend our time there.

That's a tough choice... GeoBash or playing on a SeaDoo??? I think the seadoo might win this one. Unless the weather is bad, then GeoBash would win. Either way you're sure to have fun!

I just booked a room at the Super 8 Hotel (Holiday In Express does not allow dogs 
) for myself, Jim, Ian & Blue. We will (tentatively) be going up on Wednesday Aug. 4th & heading home on Aug. 9th (or something like that). Should be a G-R-E-A-T time! I'm looking forward to it.
